More random quotes

Here are some words that Lola and Ava have slightly changed to better suit their needs:
"stinky" (binky)
"kick" (singular form of the cereal "Kix")
"squeezers" (tweezers)
"smarshmellow" (marshmellow)
"Santa Claw" (singular form of "Santa Clause")
"rice kribbies" (rice krispies)

Two quick stories about Lola:
I asked Lola how her hurt finger was doing and she said "it's pretty better".

Whenever I try to discourage Lola from doing something, because it is obvious that it's not going to work.... (for example: "Lola, Dad's shirt is too big for you", or "you're going to break that cradle if you sit in it")... She always replies with "well, we can try". It always makes me feel kind of bad..."you're right Lola, I guess we can try".

Below: Two snot-nosed, crazy-haired, ragamuffin kids that just had "freckles" hand drawn on by Lola.

"well, we can try" So cute! Hopefully she keeps that perspective always.

YESSSSSSS, I have new favorite twin pictures. I wonder how long until those "hand drawn freckles" ware off! Not as easy to remove as mascarey or eyeliner.

Such cute little ragamuffins. :)

I loved the "we can try" comment, too--Clara doesn't seem to understand that she is too big to try on teeny tiny doll shoes or things like that, but she tries anyway.

I can't wait until I'm there so they can entertain Cora. They are looking older-i cant believe it.

Your girls are so cute!! Andrew, my 18 month old is now in the same nursery class as them. I have enjoyed watching them as Andy gets used to being in there.
Even though you are now in Y.W., I have never really talked with you, but hopefully soon.
