The other night, Lola ended her prayer with, "the end", instead of "Amen".
The girls refer to my salon chair as the "Mulan chair".
"I'm beating you up" means, "I'm beating you...or I'm winning".
Ava has recently been into fake sneezes and bootie dances. (I won't go into detail)
After I tried to reach something up high, Ava said, "Maybe next time Jim comes over he can get it". (Jim is like 6'9")
"What does 'by the way' mean?" -Ava
"Me and Ava have the same face" -Lola
"You have a LOOOOOOT of hair on your arms, Dad" -Ava
"Obama!...What's Obama?"- Lola
We were singing "The Little Mermaid" song, "Part of your world", and Lola said, "Why does Ariel want more thingamabobs?".
On the morning of the girls' birthday, Lola said, "I liked being 3 better....I don't want to be 4.. you won't be able to hold me anymore.....I'm getting too big.... I'm scared".
