In a frantic voice, Ava said, "Mom, I just saw Brooklyn and she's prettier than me! She has a pink sparkly dress on".
Ava:(Right after she said her nightly prayer,) "Mom, I just thanked Heavenly Father for making flowers". Lola: (After overhearing what Ava just said,) "Heavenly Father, help me to make flowers". Me: Lola, we need to say real things that we are thankful for or need blessings. Ava:"I blessed the refrigerator!"

What's the deal with smelling hands that would make one really mad? HAHA!
I love the one where Ava was panicking that someone looked prettier than her. I can totally see her saying that. The other day Elijah was saying some girl in the neighborhood was "beautiful." I said, "Are Lola and Ava beautiful?" And he said, "I thought they were beautiful when I first met them, but when I know someone for a while, I don't think they're beautiful anymore." Luckily he gave the right answer when I asked him if I was beautiful. "I thought you were beautiful when I first saw you when I was born, but I still think you're beautiful." :)
