Lola and Ava finally committed to being mermaids for Halloween, although I don't know if this is what they had in mind. I would've had to wheel them to school in a tank of water if we did what they envisioned. I copied the idea I found HERE. and I think they turned out cute.
This is Lola walking with her ninja buddy (who is in 4th or 5th grade) at the costume parade.
That giant Winnie the Pooh is Ava's teacher.
This is Lola's class after the parade.
They took pictures in direct sunlight holding their pumpkins.
This is all three Kindergarten classes eating snacks.
After we got home from school, I got a picture of Ava standing next to all the pumpkins they made or decorated. Ava is wearing extremely dirty pants!!
That's the smile that I had to coach Lola out of doing for school picture day.
She insisted on taking a picture of me next to the pumpkins. She did a great job of centering it.
First three are Ava's, second three are Lola's.

When we got back from trick-or-treating we had hot cider and old fashioned donuts. (a tradition we did with my family.) We watched the Charlie Brown Halloween movie...That's why the girls look hypnotized.
