6 years old

Lola and Ava turned 6 yesterday!  I filled their room with balloons after they went to sleep, so they were pretty excited when they woke up in the morning.  Ryan made waffles with strawberries and cream.  Then we went to swimming lessons, which the girls LOVE.  They are doing so well.  When I was their age I wouldn't put my face near the water.  They are doing full bobs.  After swimming we went to Safeway to pick out a cake.  They decided a store bought cake is better than a homemade one.  They ended up choosing a cheesecake, but it is really hard to get two 6 year olds to agree on one.  I almost gave in and bought two cakes, but I really didn't want 100 pounds of cake at our house.  When  Ryan got home we went out the Pasta Market and had spaghetti.  This was their first birthday away from Utah so it was sad not having all the family celebrate with us.  Instead, we got a bunch of birthday songs over the phone.  It was awesome and the girls loved it.
