I had a little too much fun making banners, cakes, and decorations for the girls' 3rd birthday party. I think the girls enjoyed their birthday considering that Lola was so excited that she wanted to take a nap with a wrapped present. I knew that wasn't a good idea so I wrapped a fake present (her toy bunny) and let her get in bed with it. After telling her NOT to open it, a few minutes later I could hear tissue paper crinkling in her room. She was probably thinking "I already have this, Mom". ....The girls requested bratwurst for their birthday so as soon as grandmas and grandpas and aunts and uncles showed up we ate and then opened presents. What more could a 3 year old want?
Thank goodness Jana was there because most of these pictures came from her camera. Videos to come.

Happy Birthday girls!!! And Liesl, those cakes look yummy!
I love, love, love those dresses! Happy birthday girls!
Totally cute! Did you make the dresses too? It's all darling and magical. Those lucky girls....
The cakes turned out so cute! Your girls are lucky to have such a crafty/talented mom! Happy b-day girls!
Awesome bday bbq! I had so much fun!
Liesl you are so freaking talented! Everything you make is beautiful! That looked like a fun b-day. I showed Burton the pics and he said CAKE like 10 times.
They are so cute! I saw your chairs at the DI, the exact ones. They had all 6, and the 2 head chairs had arm rests. I totally thought of you.
i think ava and ila are the same person...
Those cakes are SO cute!
I can't believe how big the girls are getting. The gift opening reminded me of something Charity did when she was much younger. I too, told her NOT to open a present that came in the mail. As soon as I left the room I heard her say, "It's a book!". Her brother was quick with a reply. He told her if she had waited until Christmas, it would have been a toy.
