Disneyland!!

The girls had their first adventure leaving Utah and spending 10 hours driving to Disneyland. Our dream of taking Lola and Ava to see Mickey Mouse finally came true when we realized that we would save $300 if we left before they turned 3 (June 21). One of the best parts about the trip was that my sister Jana came along. It was a fluke that it worked out and we met her in CA. And then to make the fluke even bigger, on our way home we stopped in Vegas and met up with her husband/Matt/Uncle Mufasa who was there on business. I think I'll do what I do best and sum up the trip with a list: no potty accidents, no car sickness, LOTS of expensive milk, "don't push the red button"-Lola (in the elevator), missing naps, a few evil-possessed children freak-outs, major outfit dilemmas ("I need another choice"-Ava), lots of time with Dad, waiting in lines, seeing the ocean for the first time, loving the hot tub, Jack sparrow, Dumbo tantrum, recognizing random disney songs, roadside potty stops, driving to Long Beach three times to find a missing debit card, a huge buffet including cotton candy and frozen custard all in one sitting, and of course many princess sightings.

Videos to come.....

Thank goodness for DVD players. I about died when one of the girls asked "are we there yet?"...we had only made it to the grocery store by our house.

Ava doing karate on the beach.

"Tinkerbell's friend"

When Ava saw Sleeping beauty she said "You're on my umbrella!"...and Lola had a good time touching Cinderella's fake eyelashes, bangs, and gloves.

These chipmunks wouldn't stop hugging the girls.
Poor Ryan, the only proof he was there.

Looks like a fun time! We went 2 weeks ago for the twins 5th birthday and loved it! They were the perfect age and could ride on everything but Indiana Jones and the screaming roller coaster.

oh I miss Disney! Glad you got to go! I don't understand the umbrella comment? Kennedy is jealous you got to meet Silvermist, she didn't get to meet her yet.

Sounds like you had a great time! I know what you mean about DVD players in cars and potty stops. 24 hours to Texas killed us! I hope everything is going well for you guys. Keep in touch!
