Ava must have been dreaming about dogs and cats because this was our conversation after she woke up from her nap:
Ava: "Do cats eat cheerios?"
Me: "No"
Ava: "Do Dogs eat cat food?"
Me: "No"
Ava: "I don't like cat food, yuck".
Ava has learned the power of threatening. Even when she doesn't need to go to the bathroom she'll threaten this: "Pick me up before I pee my pants".
3-year old vocabulary:
"kindapple"=pineapple
"applecotto"=apricot (also stems from avocado)
"just kidding"- has just been added to their vocab
I was outside using scissors and twine to string up my tomato plants when Lola got a hold of the scissors. She was walking around saying, "What should I cut?". Somehow I didn't see this coming, but the next thing I see is Lola holding a chunk of Ava's hair saying, "I have Ava's hair". (Luckily she cut it from the back of her head.) After I took the scissors from Lola, she kept saying, "I won't cut Ava's hair again".
Below is an all time favorite picture that Ryan took on 9/8/07...almost exactly two years ago.

I LOVE that picture! It totally cracks me up now that I know how kids are. Jane puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. It is so funny, cute, and gross! LOL And I'm sorry, but I think it's hilarious that Lola cut Ava's hair. Like mother like daughter! hehe
