Lola said, "Shhh be quiet, I'm on the phone", as she was pretending to talk on her fake phone. (Wonder where she's heard that before?)
The girls think that Ryan and I are miracle workers. They are always asking us to perform tasks such as "make this balloon float"..."turn off the sun"...and of course "make it feel better".
Whenever Lola has anything that resembles a tape measure she always pretends to measure you...like on Mary Poppins. The quote from the movie is "practically perfect in every way", but Lola says "happily ever after anyway".
When the girls want their shoes on they will say in a very demanding voice "one, two, buckle my shoe!".
One day we were outside and the girls decided they wanted to put their swimsuits on. While Lola was temporarily naked, I looked over and, to my surprise, she was peeing in the grass.
All I can say about the pictures below is, "Ahh, to be young again".

That is the cutest thing ever, running through sprinklers with umbrellas. Playing in the sprinklers totally reminds me of being a kid. We were at target the other day and I tried to convince Chris to get a slip and slide that was on sale. He reminded me that we have no where to put it. What a buzz kill. Anyways, your girls crack me up.
Holy Moly, is that Lola in a non-pink swimming suit? I love how Ava can barely keep her bottoms up. So cute. I wish I was there.
Those pictures are so cool. They look like they are having a blast. Speaking of swimsuits and sprinklers, Laneah was playing with the neighbor girl her age and they wanted to play in the sprinklers. The girl ran to ask her dad if that was ok. She came back and said, "my dad says I can't put on my swimsuit right now." I continued to set up the sprinkler anyway, and when I turned around, I noticed the girl was completely naked. I guess she figured "If I can't wear my suit, I just have to be naked." That's three year old girls for ya.
So I just posted (which I rarely do) and I just noticed it comes up as "Mike" leaving the post, but it is really me, Heidi. I'll have to figure out how to change that.
I love your random quotes posts, they're my favorite!
I like the quotes...I like Ava's bum!
Love it--isn't it amazing/bizarre how little kids learn the "very demanding voice"? I keep thinking, Man, where does Clara get this from?!
HILARIOUS! i love these! and those pictures are priceless.
I love Lola's Happily ever after anyway. There can be alot of truth in that statement!!
Kids are so funny. Coda must have learned about the Holy Ghost on Sunday. All this week he has been chasing Gracie saying, "OOoooOOOooo I am the Holy Ghost...coming to get you!" Ha, kids.
