My parents came to visit, and it rained for the first few days. Then we finally got out and played at the beach, hiked to the Stanford dish, and had a stressful time in San Francisco tracking down some clam chowder and a parking space. The food was worth the hassle, though. The girls were so happy to see grandma and grandpa and we had such a fun time showing them where Lola and Ava go to school. I'm so glad they drove the 14 hours for us. It was definitely a vacation for us.
I love these pictures of my dad being OCD about brushing the sand off the girls. He rolled up their sleeves and buttoned up their sweaters, trying to keep them as clean as possible. Now I know why I'm such a mean mom and never let Lola and Ava play in the dirt. haha

I love all of this trading Mom and Dad around for a few days. It's so much fun to have them visit. You took way more pictures than we did. Bummer for me.
