Potty Training Break Through

I would just like to report that Lola is on her way to being diaperless. She informs me when she needs to "go" and then actually goes willingly to the potty. I think the treats were her main motivation. Well, if I got Laffy Taffy or fruit snacks every time I went to the bathroom I'd be motivated too. Lola even took a nap with just panties on and we even left the house twice and she didn't wet her pants. Ava, on the other hand, still has accidents, but lately she has more successes than accidents. She's a little more stubborn about sitting on the potty, but when she sees Lola go she always wants to go too. She still asks for diapers so I always tell her that we ran out. That ALWAYS works. I would just like to thank everyone who gave me potty training advice, Arisa for letting me borrow a potty chair and a potty training book (which was quite useful, I might add), my mom for buying me about a thousand pairs of panties, and everyone else that has come to our house and put up with the urine smells and wet carpet. (Just kidding, it wasn't that bad). Thanks for reading my award acceptance speech. Thank you to all.

I hope these pictures aren't too inappropriate. If you look closely in the first picture Ava is holding several writing utensils, a protractor, a shirt and a CD case...All ready for work. They both have Ryan's dirty socks on.

Yay! It's so nice when they finally figure it out! Just be prepared for setbacks.

Nice acceptance speech! I like the leg warmers....The picture of Lola with the dirty sock leg warmers on looks like she has HUGE feet and is standing on her tippy toes. So funny!

cool, that reminds me that Charles Mingus (jazzz musician) teaches cats to use the potty.

Congrats! Training two at once would be something.

I'm so jealous! Keegan doesn't even come close, and he's almost 3! I always say (as excited as I can) let's go on the potty!! He just looks at me..."no". Maybe for his birthday we can get some laffy taffy!
