Windy Days and Rubber Balls

Windy days and big rubber balls don't mix well. We had a big adventure at walmart the other day involving some huge balls. Ryan took the girls to the toy section and showed them the crate of balls. They got so attached to them that of course we had to buy them. They insisted on carrying them instead of putting them in the shopping cart. So when we got outside, being the windy day that it was, Lola's ball got swept away in the wind. It blew so fast that I thought it was gone forever but this very nice man started chasing after it. He ran all the way to Home Depot, which is quite a distance. Lola cried the whole time she watched her ball rolling away. That guy did eventually catch the ball, and Lola will be forever grateful.
