Knife Show

So, I'm related to 3 of the 4 people in this band...so why don't I have any musical talent? Here's one song from their show on Tuesday. (Ryan is playing bass behind Brent.)

Interviews

I filmed these interviews with Lola and Ava because Jana requested more videos. You're welcome.

Play Time

There's really not a point to this video except that the girls are playing so good with their kitchen. You'll watch it in suspense waiting for a punchline or waiting for something funny to happen, but it's just a minute and 5 seconds of kitchen madness.

More Random Quotes

Since we only have one car I get the car just once a week. The girls and I were in the car and I asked them "where should we go?". Lola answered "Neverland!!".

(This story was written by Ryan.) The other day, as we were checking out at a store, Ava said she wanted to buy the items we were about to purchase. I told her “But you don’t have any money.” I let her hand the money over to clerk, and I think at that moment something clicked, because she and Lola were both asking for “$50 dollars” all the way home from the store.

Here are some direct movie quotes that Lola and Ava picked up from their favorite movies. (I swear I didn't tell them to say them, they just remembered the lines on their own.) I don't know which Lola and which Ava said.
"Save it Conrad" from Cat in The Hat.
"Don't push my button" from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.
"My name is Lola and this is my cool trick" from Yo Gabba Gabba.

My girls definitely know who's who and they will correct you if you get it wrong. They'll say "No, I'M Lola/Ava". They also know their first AND last name. One time a random lady asked Lola what her name was and she said "woah-wah Pwo-basco".

I asked the girls as they were sitting in their high chairs "what do you want for breakfast?". Ava answered "SUGAR!!!"

My brother is convinced that all kids are little liars. (In a playful way..of course.) I have come to realize that this is true. I asked Ava "did you poo in your pants?". She answers "NO, I DIDN'T" (in an offended tone). Then why are you limping like you just got off a horse?

Air-Head Disaster

Last Sunday we had a little beauty school reunion at my house. I decided to make a big pot of soup/stew because it makes a lot and would feed the four of us and our husbands. The table was set, the dinner was all ready when I decided to crank up the heat one last time before serving the stew. It started boiling and then I could smell it burning. (This isn't even the disaster)... I picked up the pot and started pouring it into a glass bowl that I had planned to use. I filled it up to the top and set the pot down only to hear my bowl of soup explode!! Duh, I poured boiling soup into a glass bowl...how dumb can I be? There was soup and glass EVERYWHERE. At that point I didn't even care about my favorite bowl that we were given for a wedding present, I only cared about the group of starving people that I had no food for anymore. We did some quick thinking and dumped an extra can of chicken broth into the pot with the remaining soup that didn't fit into the glass bowl. Then we re-set the table with smaller bowls, and we were ready to eat!! Oh, I forgot to mention the massive clean up and the glass shards that I got in my foot. After the total chaos we ended up having a fun time together. Thanks Natalie, Danica, and Carlee for driving all the way to my house for a crummy bowl of soup. **my hair was a disaster that day too.
