The girls helped pick all 26 apples we got from the apple tree in our yard. They couldn't wait to eat them...so they didn't.

Camping

We went camping with Ryan's family...just about forever ago. I think one-night camping trips are the best! Here are the highlights: The girls had a blast playing with some huge leaves. I bit a rock trying to salvage my marshmallow that fell on the ground. (You'd think I would have learned from last year when I caught a flaming marshmallow and burned my hand.) We got to see some AWESOMELY creepy scarecrows...I probably shouldn't even post those pictures. And then we had a delicious breakfast cooked by Ryan's mom. Couldn't have been more fun...except I'm jealous that Ryan's brother got to sleep in the back of the truck on a mattress. (I slept on the hard floor, on an incline, with two kids kicking me in the face all night.)
