Kit quotes

All of the below quotes were recorded from May until September.  Quotes from a 2 year old!

After sneaky Lola and Ava asked me if they could watch a "S-H-O-W"....Kit asks, "Can I watch a W?".

Kit has had a hard time pronouncing banana.  She says, "ban-ana" or "banana-na".

She still says her R's like a W sound....Which makes words like rabbit and road irresistible.

Kit's favorite joke..."Guess what?....Chicken butt".

I had just put a coat on her (we were at the park and it was cold and windy) and I asked her if she felt warmer.  She said, "yeah, and cozy".

"I. AM. BORED."..."I am bored and tired."

"My lady."  (apparently she had watched too many princess shows.)

Kit: "Want baba"
Me: "You can have it after you eat dinner."
Kit: Runs to her room and throws herself on her bed....Came out a minute later and said, "I happy now...baba AFTER dinner."

Me: "It's bedtime!"
Kit: "But I'm happy."

"I am not a big girl, I am tiny".

Me: "We can't go to the store right now because Dad took the car."
Kit: "Well, we could walk!"

I can't remember why Lola and Ava were pretending to be deaf, but Kit asks me, "Can I be deaf too?".

Me: "What color is that?"
Kit: "I have no idea!"

"I don't like Walmart". (I think she likes Trader Joes better because she gets to push a tiny cart.)

"Mella milk" and "mella ice cream"...(vanilla)

Her first made up joke: "Knock knock"..."who's there"..."banana"...."banana who"...."celery".

She says blueberry like "buble" (like michael buble)

"Don't laugh....no laughing"  (She is very self aware and doesn't like to be laughed at....even by me.)

She is standing at the bathroom door with her pants down, "Wipe my crotch!".

"Pinkadots" (she calls the dots on her jammies)

"Stankerdoodles" (snickerdoodles)

Happy Father's Day

Thought it was time for a Pinterest Father's day.

2 Years Old

Kit had a great birthday! We went to a place called "The Jungle"...it's like a large playground with ball pits and tunnels.  It took a while for her to warm up to it, but it was fun for her birthday.  We made her a huge cake and decorated the house with the party decor I use every year!!  Kit got two tiny princess dolls and a bumble bee indoor bike thing..(I found it at Goodwill and it's adorable).  Had the neighbors come over to sing happy birthday and then we put her to bed!!

Kit loves her bin of dried pinto beans.  It's mess but she's pretty good about not getting them everywhere.  Lola and Ava are the mess makers.

 I made a 'bean bag toss' sign last fall for the girls' school festival and I reused it.  It happened to have the same amount of letters!

I couldn't get the white balance right on these....  

Love my little 2 year old.  I feel like the terrible 2's haven't really started yet.  This kid is amazing!!!
