I asked Lola if she wanted an M&M or a Sour Patch Kid for her potty treat and she said, "I'll have a sour crotch".

Lola: "My wags are wat." Translation: My legs are wet.

There were a few apple slices on the counter that had been sitting there a few hours. I offered one to Lola after her nap and she said, "those are nasty apples".

While we were taking a trip to some public bathrooms in the mall I noticed that Ava's underwear was not only backwards but inside-out. They weren't even underwear, they were bright red pantaloons that had come with a matching dress.

We were getting cinnamon rolls at Ikea the other day and Lola asked, "Do they have pink cinnamon rolls?".

"I'm not stubborn, I'm AVA!!"

Wheel Barrow Rides

I think I just made Lola and Ava's day. We were outside cleaning up all the weeds and garbage that blew into our yard after a windstorm on garbage day. (Not a good combination.) This is besides the point, but I filled up our empty garbage can completely with tumble weeds and other people's trash. Anyway, the girls discovered how fun wheelbarrow rides are. I used to beg my dad to give me and my sisters rides when we were little. I feel like it wasn't very long ago. The smiles on my girls faces when I let them have a ride definitely took me back.


(I haven't had our good camera to take pictures with in a long time. That explains why all my recent pictures are so crappy.)
