Lola and Ava update

All iPhone pictures.  These girls are still busy practicing reading (finally reading at grade level), growing big adult teeth, helping entertain Kit, going to school, practicing piano, playing with friends, playing on their new bunk beds and living it up. 

Kit update

Kit at 18 months: 
Says, "come on...." and motions for you to come.

Walks with hands in pockets.

Doesn't like messes, finger paints, food on face or hands or floor.

Says, "Ewwwww" to any of the above or about bugs.

Puts pencils and plastic food in the hamster cage.

22 months:
Completely potty trained at 22 months. When she was showing signs (even though I wasn't ready) we went for it.  Every time she needed to go she would say, "pee pee!!" and I just couldn't ignore that.  She has only had a handful of accidents.  The hardest part was convincing her to wear big girl undies.  (I guess I wouldn't want disgusting old used underwear either.....so we bought her new!)

Hates food except chocolate and milk....and hot dogs...."hoggogs".

Says, "Thank you, mom" (after everything!!).  One time we went to the pharmacy to get her eyedrops  (for an awesome eye infection) and I handed her the bag and she said, "Medicine! Thank you mama".

23 months:
Learned how to open doors. She surprised me one day while I was taking a shower!

Every time that I feel her forehead to see if she is sick she says, "fever, fever".

She can sing the alphabet....one day she said, "QRSTUV" out of the blue.

She screams soooo loud, but she is very reasonable.  If you talk to her about it she can stop crying and be happy so fast.

She knows how to give compliments.  All in one day she called me a princess and pointed to my dress and then later said "pretty eyes".

She loves stuffed animals.

She doesn't like to share....anything....with anyone.

She says, "Dangit" at the appropriate time.

 Look, touch, smell, taste, feed the baby doll. (18 months)

 We've had to hide the iPad because she turns into a monster if we let her use it.  She thinks she's entitled to it and will steal it away from her sisters.

 Kit's first hike that she walked.

I think she's 18 months old here, but she still goes in the baby carrier all the time!!!

 EVERY day she begs to go to the park!!!

 She is so trained to take pictures that sometimes she'll sit and say, "PICTURE!!".

 

This kid has hair!

Ryan got called into nursery now and she's adjusting finally. She still can't adjust to sharing toys....but a lot of times just likes to stand and watch kids play.

 Loves sneaking into sisters' room to play.  The sisters aren't very forgiving when it comes to messes she makes.

Asleep in the car!  She's a pro.  And she transfers to her bed every time!!!

She likes to play really good right before bed.

 These wiggle bikes have been the best investment for where we live.  The alleyway provides a lot of traffic free space to go crazy.

 Her worst nightmare is getting her teeth brushed.  I'm not kidding.
