Left Knees

This is the weirdest coincidence! Lola and Ava only get holes in their left knees. Yesterday I finally got around to patching up all their holes. I probably should just throw them away, but I'm too cheap.

Instagram time

We went to the children's museum in Palo Alto last Saturday. Ryan had never been there before so the girls enjoyed showing him around.

The girls looked so cute and clean before school so I snapped a picture.

Here's Lola after school on a different day. They seriously come home this dirty on a regular basis. She's not only dirty from the waist up either, her knees are filthy too. And you can't even really see the pb&j on her face!

This morning I told the girls to just get a graham cracker for breakfast so I didn't have to get out of bed. When I finally got up I go out into the kitchen and find that they had gotten themselves dressed and were having a tea party with sour cream and onion chips and goldfish.

Ryan took this picture while we were waiting for roadside assistance. To make a long story short, we ran out of gas on the way to Utah. woops...the girls thought it was awesome.

Bobcat of the Week

Ava won the Bobcat of the week award at school this week. They usually have an assembly once a week and they announce about 6 Bobcat awards out of the whole school. It was pretty exciting and surprising for Ava when her name got called. The certificate says, "For being kind and helpful. For being respectful, responsible and safe. For being a friend to everyone."

Doll Houses

I just had to show off the doll houses that I gave to the girls for Christmas this year. I found them at Goodwill for $9 each and then I wallpapered them with fabric and paper that I had been saving. I love how they turned out, maybe more than Lola and Ava. No, the girls were so excited to find these "castles" on our pretend Christmas morning. Thanks to Jana for convincing me to go back to Goodwill to buy the other house...and thanks to Elisha for wallpapering tips. What more could a girl want? (..Apparently makeup and necklaces.)
